We collect the bare minimum. Here is exactly what happens when you use the tool.

Results

The analysis result (verdict, scores, file name) and the PDF report are kept for 7 days so that you can download them, then they are erased. They can only be accessed with the unique link of the analysis.

Cookie and free quota

To apply the free analysis limit, we set a single technical cookie (“hoi”), which contains a random identifier. It is used for nothing else: no advertising, no tracking. We also record an encrypted, irreversible fingerprint of your IP address, never the address itself, to limit abuse. As this cookie is strictly necessary for the service, it does not require consent.

The website uses no Google Analytics, no advertising pixel and no third-party tracking tool.

Audience measurement

To know how many people visit the website and where they come from, our server counts page views, the referring site (for example “LinkedIn” or “Google”) and a few actions (analysis started, opinion sent, sign-up), with no cookie and no third-party tool. To count unique visitors in a day, it computes an encrypted fingerprint of your IP address and browser, valid for that day only: it is erased the next day and cannot be used to follow you from one day to the next. Only daily totals are kept.

Your opinion on a verdict

If you tell us that a verdict is right or wrong, we keep your answer, your comment if any, the file name, the verdict and the analysis scores, and your email only if you give it so that we can reply. This information is used to check and improve the detector; it is kept for 3 years at most. The audio file itself is still deleted right after the analysis.

Buying a pack

If you buy a pack, the payment is processed by Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe Ltd, Ireland), which collects your bank details: we never have access to them. We receive your email address, your billing address, your VAT number if you give one, as well as the credit code and its balance. This data is used to give you your credits and to issue the invoice. Invoices and accounting records are kept for 10 years, as required by law; the code and its balance, 12 months after the credits expire. The code is saved in your browser (local storage) so you don't have to type it again; you can erase it at any time.

Certification waiting list

If you join the waiting list for the Human Vibes certification, we keep your name, email, profile, the name of your organisation, the number of titles indicated, your message if any and an encrypted fingerprint of your IP address (against abusive sign-ups). This data is used only to notify you when it opens and, if you applied to the founding artists programme, to contact you again. It is kept for 3 years after you sign up, or deleted earlier on simple request to contact@humain-ou-ia.fr.

Contributions from artists and labels

Artists and labels who contribute open an upload space with their name and email, then sign an agreement online. We then keep the signatory's name, email, organisation, the information declared about the tracks, the date of the agreement and an encrypted fingerprint of the IP address, to prove the authorisation: for the whole duration of the agreement, then 5 years. The tracks entrusted to us are stored privately on our server and used only to train and evaluate the detector; they are deleted within 30 days if the agreement is withdrawn.

Legal basis

The processing is based on the performance of the service you request (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR), on our legitimate interest in preventing abuse, measuring the audience and improving the detector (Article 6(1)(f)) and, for invoices, on our accounting and tax obligations (Article 6(1)(c)). For contributions, it is based on the agreement signed by the contributor (Article 6(1)(b)).

Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, objection and restriction. Write to us at contact@humain-ou-ia.fr. You can also lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (cnil.fr), or with the authority of your country.

Transfer outside the European Union

The server is located in Switzerland, a country recognised by the European Commission as providing an adequate level of personal data protection.
